Year End Matching Grant Challenge
Dear Friend of Stage Left Theatre,
I am delighted to tell you that Stage Left Theatre is launching into 2022, our 40th Season, with gusto and enthusiasm. Stage Left has been undaunted by the challenges of the last 20 months. We have continued in our mission to present a diversity of socially and politically relevant stories. We are determined to continue and thrive. We want to make this year our very best year yet.
To do that WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Stage Left Theatre’s board and ensemble are grateful to our patrons who have encouraged the company through their unwavering dedication and support, particularly through these past difficult months. Audiences at our virtual and outdoor performances demonstrated a need for the company to continue its mission but WE CANNOT DO THIS ALONE! Financial donations have made it possible for Stage Left to continue to plan and produce.
Just this month, donors came forward to issue a challenge grant for Stage Left Theatre. While most donations to the company are between $25 and $500, a challenge has been made that every dollar raised before December 31, 2021, up to $3,000 will be matched. Your contribution, of whatever size, will have twice the impact on delivering thoughtful, provocative, and relevant theatre to the Chicago community.

I love attending live theatre. I am passionate about the work of Stage Left. That is why I have volunteered to serve on its Board, through good times and hard times, for many years.
