Seeking: We are currently seeking female-identifying actors (that can play ages 20-30) for the virtual production of Crystal Skillman’s one-person show, OPEN. Rehearsals will be in the evenings (and select weekends dependent on availability) meeting virtually and in-person beginning October 4. Performances will be live streamed in a closed studio and run Nov 5-21. Please note- everyone working on this show will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination status prior to rehearsals.

The story: OPEN is a magic act that reveals itself to be a resurrection. A woman called the Magician presents a myriad of tricks for our entertainment, yet her performance seems to be attempting the impossible—to save the life of her partner, Jenny. But is our faith in her illusions enough to rewrite the past? The clock is ticking, the show must go on, and, as impossible as it may seem, this Magician’s act

may be our last hope against a world filled with intolerance and hate.

Written by Crystal Skillman

Directed by Bobbi Masters
