Beneath the Mango Moon, by Jeff Augustin
directed by Scott Bishop*

An intimate portrait into the mind of a Haitian playwright stricken with dementia. As her mind deteriorates, her past and the world she has built with her family in Miami bleeds in the world of her play; a dark, surreal, apocalyptic Haiti, and both Marie and the character she has become must reconcile with their pasts. Beneath the Mango Moon is an examination of the human mind, through the lens of a Haitian woman tortured by salvation.
