Through scripted material and improvisation, the show’s performers examine gender roles, cultural expectations and media influences to examine causes and solutions of sexual assault. The local run marks the kickoff of a world tour that will mark the company’s first significant entrees into military installations abroad. A graduate of Stage Left’s Downstage Left program, Catharsis began to focus on college campuses after successful theatrical runs in 2000 and 2001. In 2002, the company was nominated for Speaker of the Year by Campus Activities, and has since performed on over 800 college campuses. pH Productions presents Are You A Man? No, You Are Not. You create an entire family and influence the events during a year in their lives. The players will ask you questions, show you flashbacks, and burst into song!
